Corinthian, a leading UK post-production and studio facility purchased Blue Order's Media Archive Media Asset Management platform to drive the production facilities at its new premises in Chiswick Park, London.
Media Archive will act as the core of the new facility managing the fully digital workflow that is being installed. The system will control the integration between the video ingest front-ends, and cataloguing and indexing of the content to Sony online Petasite storage and Thomson Grass Valley Group video servers. Media Archive will also control the playout of video material through a Harris automation system while supporting full integration with the legacy video archive and database that Corinthian's main customer is currently using.
Blue Order is working with chosen partners to supply and install the system and carry out the ingestion and archiving of 1,000 hours of existing footage in the run up to the go-live. Due to Media Archive's modular architecture the Blue Order team is able to supply a degree of customization of the platform to suit the specific needs of users at the Corinthian site.
