Studio Hamburg Fernseh Allianz (FA) GmbH, Hamburg, Germany
In 2002 the Studio Hamburg Fernseh Allianz (FA) GmbH purchased Blue Order's Media Archive Media Asset Management platform for the management of audiovisual media content to organize its digital long-term archiving. With this platform the FA realizes the embedding of its entire nature film production, the respective feeds and the trilingual descriptions into a digital archiving environment. Besides German and English the descriptions are also provided in Latin language.
The thus efficiently usable media assets can be researched and ordered via the FA internally developed Internet-portal www.library-sales.de. The system is currently working with more than 18.000 clips, each week further 300 clips are added to the system.
Meanwhile also other programmes such as all children films and partially the music clips (e.g. Rockpalast and Beatclub) have been embedded into the archiving system and are now available via the e-commerce system.
