ZDF Enterprises GmbH is the wholly-owned subsidiary and commercial arm of ZDF German Television Network, one of Europe's largest and most respected broadcasters.
In September 2001, ZDF Enterprises launched an extensive new website, which provides its users with online information and downloadable clips from the vast archive of the ZDF Network. This service is enabled by Blue Order's Media Transact e-commerce system.
Aimed at ZDF Enterprises' existing and potential clients in TV and film production, zdf-archive.com offers customers easy and direct access to a large selection of archived programming.
The service is hosted and operated by Blue Order, with approximately 30 hours of programming being digitized, annotated and ingested into the system each month.
